Fashion File: Wurkin Stiffs

The coolest thing that Wurkin Stiffs offers is their patented "Power Stays". They are magnetic so they keep your collar where you want it to be. I have been wearing them everyday to the office, and they haven't failed me yet. My Collar has stayed right where I wanted it without drooping, or spreading like a character in Saturday Night Fever.

They also offer a wide variety of other men's accessories which look awesome. I had a nerdy moment when I saw that they have a cuff knot collection called "Superhero" (pictured above). I IMMEDIATELY put all of them into my shopping cart without thinking. I ended up ordering the "Tony Stark" and "Clark Kent" Knotz. They come in packaged in corked vials with their "KNOTZ" logo.

Overall, I came away very impressed with their products. I will definitely be repeat customer.

Hard Knocks Returns!

... And every sports fan in America leaps to their feet! I am soooo excited for this summer's return of HBO's "Hard Knocks"featuring the Miami Dolphins.

The Dolphins will have a lot to live up to after the last season of Hard Knocks showcased Rex Ryan and the New York Jets. I for one am excited about learning more about rookie head coach Joe Philbin and the three way QB battle between Matt Moore, David Garrard and rookie Ryan Tannehill.

The Essentials (Updated 5/28)

This is the list of all lists when it comes to movies. Basically, if you haven't seen or heard of a movie on this list, you should make it a priority to see it ASAP... Let's be honest, I'm no movie critic, but these are some great films (Some of which I would not consider a "film", but still worth a watch). I will be constantly updating this list, so stay tuned! Click on the names of the movies to see a trailer. If you see that I've left something off of the list, or if you think I have the worst movie taste in the history of cinema, leave me a comment!

The Top Five (In no specific order, they're all #1's in my opinion)

Gangs of New York - What's not to  like about this epic set in New York in the 1850's? Leo DiCaprio, Daniel Day-Lewis and Cameron Diaz not to mention a pre-Talledega Nights John C. Riley. This film has something for everyone from fantastic cinematography, love triangles and need I mention to the amazing battle royal at the end? See This Movie.

The Departed - An Irish mob tale full of twists, crooked cops and cheating girlfriends. Jack Nicholson, Matt Damon, Leo DiCaprio, Mark Wahlberg and Martin Sheen just to name a few faces you'll recognize in this thriller. The best film Nicholson has done at this stage of his career.

Blow - Johnny Depp BEFORE he become a universally known swashbuckling pirate/chocolatier/vampire/mad hatter. Great story following along the actual life of George Jung. Don't forget about the always sexy Penélope Cruz and throwback Ray Liotta.

Snatch - Guy Ritchie's masterpiece set in London following the ridiculous events surrounding a pair of boxing promoters, Russian gangsters, gypsies, thieves and other sketchy individuals. Brad Pitt and Jason Statham head up an all star cast in this classic.

The Goodfellas - Ray Liotta, Robert De Niro and Joe Pesce. Enough Said. I don't want to ruin this one for anyone who hasn't seen this one.

"Super Cam" Newton Highlight Reel

Cam Newton had one of the best rookie seasons of any player in recent NFL history. Check out this reel of "Super Cam" created by CelticsPatriotsman. Watch it in 1080p to get the full effect!

Welcome to the Thunder Dome, Bitches!

This is the first post on what I hope to be my first kick-ass blog. I've dabbled in blogging before, but while I was free lancing as a web designer it made more sense to keep all of my thoughts on my own website. Now that I've moved on in my career, it just makes more sense to move my sometimes non-sensical rants to blogger.

Having lived in New York now for over a year, I'm starting to get used to city living. The one thing I knew moving here though was that space where you are living comes at a premium, and the idea of a man cave is just not possible in most Manhattan apartments. That gave me the idea of creating this blog. If I can't have my "cave" within the walls that I call home, why not at least create one online. I'll be talking about anything that my fellow cave dwellers would be talking about including sports, food, video games, music among other things.

Enjoy!
